    Enel X Way announced on October 2, 2024 that it was leaving North America nine days later. JuiceBox chargers kept charging, but the app, scheduling and monitoring went with the servers.

    Carmakers' apps show a few numbers and stop when the maker drops the car. OVMS is an open module that plugs into the OBD2 port, with three CAN buses, 4G and GPS. It reads live charge, temperatures, tyre pressures and faults, and on some cars controls charging and climate.

    Fisker Owners Association

    Fisker filed for Chapter 11 in June 2024. Owners founded the Fisker Owners Association the same month, and when the connection to Fisker's cloud went down in April 2025, the features that depended on it stopped. The association has since released PKC21, new phone-as-key software built with Chevalier, and runs its own app and eSIM connectivity for members.
